When you've got Tom Green on your side, how can you lose?
The Canadian comedian posted a recommendation to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board on his blog recently: Save his alma mater, Beacon Hill's Colonel By High School, from closure.
He's just one of many people outraged that the board would consider closing the province's only English public school to offer an International Baccalaureate.
The crowd of more than 400 gathered in the school's "cafetourium" last night laughed when Tim Tierney, president of the Beacon Hill North Community Association, announced Green is on board.
