PUBLIC COMMUNITY ASSICATION MEETING

The meeting will take place Wednesday February 4, 2009, 7-9pm at Colonel By Secondary School located at 2381 Ogilvie Road, Gloucester, Ontario. An agenda will be released prior to the event, but the meeting will cover the work the community association has been doing including the following items:

Colonel By Secondary School possible closure and what your association standing committee is doing about it.
Interprovincial bridge discussions and how your association standing committee is getting involved.
The Emerald ash borer beetle and what we can expect in the coming years.
The Beacon Hill North Community Association newly minted constitution presentation to the community.
Upcoming Beacon Hill North Community Association events in the community including Canada Day celebrations, the Beacon Hill Garage Sale Days, etc....
A short discussion on community safety and the neighbourhood watch by Constable Wayne Wilson of the Ottawa Police.
And much more!

Tim Horton’s coffee, donuts and muffins will be provided and hope for a large turnout similar to the one we had in October 2008.

With the community association growing so quickly, the BHNCA executive have decided to expand our executive and are now looking for volunteers to fill the positions, some of which include membership, events,etc. These positions will be posted on the BHNCA website over the next week and hope to get them filled quickly.
