ARC customization of the School Valuation Framework underway

Thank you to Evelyne Power-Reid and Barb Sinclair who represented the BHNCA Tuesday October 21st during the ARC customization of the School Valuation Framework component of the ARC meeting.

The meeting focussed on establishing procedures for further meetings. Preliminary work was done to identify factors for consideration in the valuation of the seven schools covered by the review.

The BHNCA members who identified an interest in working on the ARC issues will be called to a meeting on October 27,2008 to ensure the factors are robust from a BHNCA perspective and to being the development of metrics and strategies.

The next ARC meeting Evelyne and Barb will be representing the BHNCA at (Rideau High School, Tuesday November 4, 2008, 6:30pm) concerns the process for public participation at regular meetings of the ARC.

Details of the agreed process will be posted on the community website ( www.BHNCA.com ) and ultimately in the minutes on the school boards website, but those who are interested in attending or providing comments on the process may want to attend.
